Creating idol and worshiping style in the Christianity
Most of the Christians especially Catholics and Orthodocs worship Jesus Christ as their god by creating Idols and various images & place them in the church and home. Ask them, Is this idol of your god Jesus Christ? They will surely answer, yes this is the idol of Christ. Then you say - this is idol of Christ !! there is no doubt that this is not Christ himself.
What the Christians are doing, they are doing the same what the Pagans (People of Athens) did. All of you know that people of Athens were very honest but they used to worship idols, as it is mentioned in Gospel of Acts 17:22-25. There is written-
There is another teaching of Bible from Gospel of John 1:18 that - "no one has seen God" and it is also mentioned in Gospel of John 4:24 that "God is a spirit" as we know that spirits cant be touched and they are very far away from all pain and hunger, and that is why in Book of Exodus 20:4 is mentioned - "You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth"
This documents prove creating image of any thing is prohibited in bible and God cannot be imagined because non of we have seen him and Jesus Christ is not God.
The god we make in our image, can give us temporary comfort, because he is made in our image.
Why do then human beings imagine their own? the short answer is, because- man has such a spiritual need that if there is no god then man must invent

Paul stood in the middle of the Areopagus, and said, “You men of Athens, I perceive that you are very religious in all things. For as I passed along, and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: ‘TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.’ What therefore you worship in ignorance, this I announce to you. The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands, neither is he served by men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself gives to all life and breath, and all things.
See the teaching of Paul was clear that;- God who created this universe and all the exist cant be served by human being.
